To help identify your allergy triggers, we offer comprehensive testing that may include skin tests, blood tests, and oral allergen challenges.

Allergy Shots
Allergy shots may be recommended if your symptoms are poorly controlled by allergy medications and allergen avoidance (environmental control). Allergy shots help your body build tolerance to all the allergens that you are allergic to: pollens, dust mites, mold, animal dander and insect venom. It is the only treatment currently available that modulates your immune system to prevent new allergies and asthma.
Allergy shots are highly effective for allergic asthma. In the Bay Area, this can mean that they can help prevent asthma flares during the Spring pollen season. The allergy injections involve small amounts of purified allergy extracts.
